Smart Up Thursdays accelerate sustainable development by activating discussion within the community of cleantech and sustainability professionals and enabling connections and knowledge-sharing.

Each session will be brought by a different co-host and all will offer the opportunity to learn about various actions, technologies and tools that can result in big changes. We can truly achieve great things when we work together, exchange ideas and spur innovation!

Smart Up Thursday I: Deeds That Matter

March 15, 5pm-7pm @Allas Sea Pool, co-hosted with Smart & Clean Foundation

In the end, only what is done matters. What deeds do the politicians, corporations, or we citizens do to lead the change to a sustainable world. What would we need from the other to amplify our actions? Come and discuss!

Programme (starts at 17.30):

Why cooperation of citizens, businesses, cities and scholars is needed. Tiina Kähö, Executive Director, Helsinki Metropolitan Smart & Clean Foundation

Discussion: The participants will present their deed and what they need from other to make it matter more.

Helsinki Metropolitan Smart & Clean Foundation will challenge all the participants to tell about their deeds on a video in #munteko video challenge. This is the unveiling event of the challenge. At least five videos will be purchased with 1500 each to be used in Smart & Clean communications on the actions that make Helsinki Metropolitan the best testbed for smart and clean solutions in the world.
